Dedicated Boys and Girls Club at Pueblo Bonito

Since 2006 Partnership In Housing and the Boys and Girls Club of Lee County, Florida have partnered to create a program for our children that is unparalleled in the region. 

While we intially provided educational opportunities, computer and language classes, and health clinics for our families, we felt strongly that having an organization like Boys and Girls Clubs onsite would increase both the scope and quality of offerings for our families and children.

The Club provides after school, summer and special programs for our children which currently serve about 70-80 children each day during the school year.  It is our hope that by expanding our facilities we can accomodate upwards of 120 children each day!

PIH also  provides the benefits which the Wells Fargo grant will help fund, health education and health fairs, financial education
and home ownership education. We maintain almost a 100% rental rate with few vacancies in any given month.

As students/residents receive the instruction provided by the instruction provided, we will see continued graduation
rates from high school ( currently all H.S. students enrolled are expected to graduate with their class.

We also observe residents improving their employment situations and some become more involved in community government, civic organizations, qualify for home purchase, etc.
